Questions
What can I use for free, and what does Premium add?
The free plan includes one care recipient, voice and quick entries, on-device recaps where supported, and the most recent 30 days of history. Older entries remain on your device. The listing describes monthly or yearly auto-renewing Premium subscriptions for full history and visit-summary PDFs, but those subscriptions were still in review on 30 September 2026. Where do my notes and dictated audio go?
The journal stays on your device with no account, cloud sync, analytics, or server for your care notes. Dictation and recaps use on-device Apple models, and CareLog does not save dictated audio. Speech-model downloads may require a connection to Apple. You decide whether to share an available visit-summary PDF; the destination controls that copy.
Which devices are supported, and can recaps guide medical care?
CareLog requires iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later. Dictation and recaps depend on device, language, and model availability; recaps require supported Apple Intelligence. CareLog is a journal, not a medical device, and recaps are not medical advice. Review generated wording against your entries and discuss care decisions with a qualified clinician.
