# OffGrid: Family Screen Time — Family screen-time tracker

Platform: iOS

OffGrid lets children aged 6–14 earn screen time by doing real-world offline activities, spend from a balance set together with a parent, and request extra time when they need it. A shared agreement instead of a power struggle — and it’s 100% on-device.

## Questions

### Does OffGrid lock or block apps?

No. It does not integrate with Apple Screen Time or FamilyControls and does not enforce device limits. It models the agreement, tracks the balance, and builds habits through shared accountability.

### Who is it for?

Families with children aged 6–14 who want a calmer, collaborative approach to screen time rather than a lockout screen.

### Is my family’s data private?

Completely. OffGrid is 100% on-device — no accounts, no network calls, no analytics, no third-party services. Everything stays on your phone.
