The Problem
Finding the right words can take longer than the conversation itself, especially when a message needs to be warm but clear, firm without sounding harsh, or shaped for a particular messaging app.
The Solution
Parley gives you a private writing space to draft, refine, compare, and reuse messages. Make a version shorter, warmer, firmer, or more direct, restore an earlier revision whenever needed, and hand off the finished text only when you choose.
What you get
On-device message writing
Describe what you need to say and create a polished draft with Apple Intelligence on supported devices, without sending your content to the developer.
Conversational refinement
Ask for a shorter, warmer, firmer, or more direct version and keep refining until the message sounds right.
Complete revision history
Compare drafts, restore an earlier version, or edit the text yourself without losing the path that got you there.
Channel-aware drafts
Shape messages for Messages, WhatsApp, WeChat, Microsoft Teams, or Slack, then hand off the finished text through a user-initiated action.
Reusable local templates
Turn a finished message into a template with fill-in placeholders that continue to work locally when Apple Intelligence is unavailable.
Private dictation and storage
Keep drafts and templates in local app storage, with optional dictation that requires on-device speech recognition and refuses server fallback.
Questions
- Does Parley send my messages to the developer?
- No. Parley has no account, developer server, cloud sync, advertising, analytics, or tracking. Drafts and templates stay in the app’s local storage.
- Do I need Apple Intelligence?
- Apple Intelligence powers message writing and refinement on supported devices, but Parley also includes a built-in offline drafter and local templates for times when it is unavailable.
- Does Parley send messages automatically?
- No. You choose when to hand off a finished message to a supported messaging app or the system share sheet.
- What version of iOS does Parley require?
- Parley requires iOS 26 or later. On-device Apple Intelligence features also require a supported device with Apple Intelligence available.
