The Problem

Every AI assistant starts from a different version of you. Useful preferences and hard-won context become trapped in separate tools, forcing you to repeat yourself or hand over far more personal information than a conversation needs.

The Solution

Contexta gives you a user-owned memory layer that stays on your device. Import and review memories locally, organise them into collections, protect sensitive scopes, and copy or export exactly the context you want to use with any assistant.

What you get

One memory vault for every AI

Capture the lessons, preferences, facts, and experiences worth carrying between ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and the other assistants you use.

Local imports with review

Import memory statements from pasted text or JSON files, parse them on device, and review every memory before adding it to your vault.

Focused collections

Organise memories into scopes such as Coding, Travel, Work, Food, Health, or Family, then share one relevant collection at a time.

Sensitive sharing controls

Mark private collections as sensitive so they cannot be shared without an explicit override, and use revocable grants and access logs to stay in control.

Portable by design

Copy a collection as formatted context for any AI assistant, or export your complete vault as JSON or Markdown whenever you like.

Private and protected

Your vault and imports stay on your device. Optionally lock Contexta with Face ID, Touch ID, Optic ID, or your device passcode.

Questions

Does Contexta send my memories to a server?
No. Contexta is local-first: your vault stays on your device, and imported text and files are parsed locally. You choose what to copy or export for use elsewhere.
Which AI assistants can I use it with?
Contexta can import memory statements from ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini exports or pasted settings. Because collections can be copied as formatted text or exported as JSON or Markdown, you can use them with any assistant that accepts text.
How does Contexta protect sensitive memories?
You can mark collections as sensitive, which blocks sharing unless you explicitly override it. Optional biometric or device-passcode locking, revocable share grants, and access logs add further control.
